The 19-year-old who started his own hydrovac company instead of joining the family business
In Stockbridge, Michigan, Foster Pybus founded Belfost Hydro Excavation at 19 — after three years of hands-on excavation work picked up while still in high school. His father had started Belfost Construction in the same town in 2011, named after their two kids, Bella and Foster. Foster is now the second person in the family to put that name on a company, in his own trade.
